A very good point.

Torque was banned for 1 day because he was always provoking fights and almost never contributed positively to the information and bmw knowledge on these forums, which is the underlying purpose after all. This was after he was given numerous warnings to not start things or make comments like that, via PM and IM. When he was banned for one day, he took offense to it and requested a perm. ban instead... so that was carried out. =/

wow..... i knew he was a little hot tempered. But to ask for a perm ban instead of a one day is kinda stupid IMO. oh well, life goes on

Keep in mind, the mods here did NOT want to perm ban Torque. Just wanted to give him a "timeout" I guess you could call it. I like Torque, respect Torque but we felt he didn't contribute to the growth of our community in a positive way.

We don't expect everyone here to help us grow, but we do expect to have our members to be respectful of others and allow the community to grow in a positive direction.

Feel free to PM or IM any of the mods at anytime if you want answers for some of the things we've done. Don't be shy around us at all. Shab always PMs me and yells at me when he's upset, but I expect it from a raging hormoned teenager JP Shab.

Harry, thanks for doing such a great job over here, and I never realized until you mentioned it, but I have NEVER seen the owner of ANY of the forums besides this one.

Kind of on topic... Rooz you crack me up. You post a thread here... I read it and then refresh the page on werkz and bimmerforums and the EXACT same thread is on each e36 section! Hilarious! That's using your resources!

yeah, when I have "performance" questions I usually post them on all 5 forums just so I can get a wider range of answers, but as my post count tells it, this is my favorite forum, I guess it's safe to give you guys HERE a rank:

1. United
2. 328i.org
3. Bimmeforums
4. DTM
5. Werkz

That all the forums am on and in order of how much I like them

DTM seems to be more about the regional stuff which is cool. I spend a lot of time on the Pac. NW forum.
