Defcon Road-Trip

If anyone has heard of defcon, its a hackers convention held in Las Vegas at the Alexia Park hotel and 6 of my friends and I went on the trip leaving from Sacramento California.

We took my 90' 325i Convertible and a 03' subaru 2.5 rs (friends car) down and hit alot of speed traps along the way (thank god for radar detectors) but when we got into nevada (interstate 15) is when we let loose there was this big hill (pictrures soon to come) and no cars on it at all thats when the fun started 100 seemed slow after a while so up to 130 I went. My friends subaru topped out at 125 or so and it was great we got to the hotel really fast then fell asleep (we were driving all night) Defcon was awsome there were lockpicking classes and other great hacking classes that we took all for the 1 entry fee price of 80 dollars and we ended up getting really drunk and walking around and that was funny. on the drive back we decided to take a different route 95A north through Nevada. It was the fastest drive ive ever made. according to google maps it would have been a 12.5 hour drive but we made it in about 7.5 the only thing we slowed down for were the turns we did see the speed limit signs for 70mph but we never followed them. Every once in a while we would stop on a straight away and race but every time my 325i would own the subaru (its an automatic) So I guess the reason I wrote this thread was to tell you guys about how cool defcon was and that if you get the chance drive out to nevada and go on route 95a towards Reno. it seemed that my car topped out around 132 or so because it just got harder and harder to go faster but I still had about 1,500 rpm left till redline is my car limited? is that removed by a chip?

Defcon 13 was awsome im definatley going next year.

That's awesome. I wanted to go to Defcon so bad, but unfortunately it's on the other coast and I'm slammed with work.
