i'm thinking of buying an E30 or a motorcycle.

the only reason why i'd go with the E30 or anything with four wheels for that matter would be if the insurance rates on a motorcycle are so astronomical that i have no choice. I was thinking of a buell Firebolt sport bike or possibly a cheap (9k) ducati sportbike....

anyone know how much motorcycle insurance would cost?
i'm 18, no accidents, no tickets reported to insurance, no accidents, defensive driving school, good student discount

nevermind...i quoted progressive and got $632 a year for the most basic possible coverage

unless ur super pro on a bike i highly dont recomend it. Last night i saw the after math of a motorbike that had been hit from behind, the bike was nearly ripped in half. Ive also seen some dude change lanes and almost smoke a guy on his bike as he passed.Go with the E30 dude, cheaper and safer

i'm pretty good on a bike. i've done some bike schools and i used to race dirt bikes on a prett regular basis

insurance is much cheaper on cruisers, my brother pays 160/yr for his bike(he has a honda shadow) and dont get buell, harley makes them and i heard they are very troublesome

sorry but I don't think you can go for that long w/o eventually crashing. I have seen guys with experience crash and it never ends up pretty. They are fun, but just not worth it for an everyday kinda ride.

I plan on buying a bike later this year/early next year. There's no way in hell I'd use it as something daily. People in GA don't really know how to drive at all. But on the weekends when all the bikers come out they seem to pay attention, just never taking anywhere near 285/downtown atlanta.

Look twice, motorcycles are everywhere.

i dont think, with bikes, the term ricer can be used.. really, its a bike, you cant put altezzas and a fart can, and they are wicked fast, i like the honda CBRs, the suzuki hyabuse, and the yamaha r1/r6, and no those arent ricer, and ducatis are nice too, just expensive

you want to spend 9 grand for a bike and claim you dont have enough money for a BMW?
