I know... I was so impressed during that part how they had a camera mounted externally that had almost no vibration while moving through thick air at over 2,000 miles per hour.... and also sync'ing with a satellite at those speeds to transmit that image, so crisply. Very impressive.

NASA = Waste of money. What has NASA done for this country? These would be no NASA if it wasn't for German Scientist's after WW2. I think we've mastered the rocket by now... time to move on and spend our money on things that matter here at home.

Yeah, they're able to save our asses from a comet.. hmmm.. I doubt it. They can barely get a shuttle off the ground now without it exploding... Been doing this since the 50s/60s and they're still having problems.

I agree 100% White. I just don't agree with spending billion's of dollars to explore another planet for the heck of it. Unless there is some hidden agenda that we don't know about, NASA will continue to be a huge waste of tax payer money. Kill NASA and take that money and pay off the national debt.

You do understand the national debt, right? It's a good thing to have. By having a debt that size and making payments and such, we develop credit with other nations and allow us to borrow more if needed. If we had no national debt, no other nations would trust us to loan money. It's a good thing.

Well I wouldn't go that far . . countless things we take for granted today were born from the space program. Flame retardant racing suits, for one

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.
