Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

dude, you could have bought 2 e30s, one stock just to have... then another...
that would be like 6 grand right there...
rebuild one of the motors, possible stroker kit...
of course suspension, wheels, shadowline, and whatever else it needed.
then a turbo or super charger.
that>subaru wrx
could have.... jeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz
I'm very upset about this whole thing just so people know...
My friend who has a badass supped up WRX is selling it to get an e36 m3 and then he's turboing that car.. he got stomped the other night by a turbo m3 on the freeway so he doesn't want his car anymore haha. He's ashamed he said lol... but his car is fast as hell so I'm like "wtf Mark you lost one time!"
But he also wants a more luxury car and something that looks better.. oh and David, my friend's turbo e30 would have spanked your WRX but he also spanked most anything that came to the track so that's not saying much. Man I'm sad to see a bmw owner go to a jap car Why david why!!!

all of these would have or you could have.. i have thought about all of the i could haves... i could have bought 4 e30s if i wanted to... i could also go hookup with a fat girl? i dont want to. I could have bought an e36 m3, but i just am not ready to drive ANOTHER bmw. I am really into snowboarding (live 45 min away tops) from the place where snowboarding was invented... The Awd will be nice. i have loved the styling of the cars since before they hit US shores. Im not going to be the fastest car ever... the car is already modded and moves... i mean stock vs stock they take an e36 m3, and with all the stuff this car has im sure i will have some fun with some bimmers around town. But that is not the only reason i bought it. Within a few months i will be getting my vf34 turbo sti injectors new fuel pump and fmic and really the car will be fast enough at that for me for a LONG time. i dont need to run anything faster than a 12.5 or so in the 1/4. I know its not a freeway beast.. but i also know it gets to 130 pretty quick.. and honestly itll be good for me not to go faster than that... Another big selling point is its a new car. All my cars and the bmws i was looking at was 100k+ miles, i know not a huge deal.. but getting in a car that has 30,000 miles is awesome. Lastly i will sell some of you on the wrx later this week as i make my exhuast movie.. i suppose bov movie also. anyways thats just half the reasons, bmws and wrxs have always been tied as my fav. car, i have owned 2 bimmers but have been driving stephanies rex a lot lately.. they corner like a dream! with the suspension im running i have no doubt i can go through the twisties just as good or better than most bimmers..
david, I would not switch over to the FMIC setup. the top mount is good for 400+ HP. The only thing you will get out of the FMIC is the bling factor, and increased turbo lag.
With the increased pipe length of the turbo piping, you have more air that must be pressurized before boost can reach high levels.
Follow this formula PV = nRT (Ideal Gas Law): pressure x volume = n(moles of gas) x Gas Law Constant x Temperature (in Kelvin)
So, considering the number of moles of gas will remain constant (since the air/fuel mixture is unchanged), R = .0821 and is constant, and your temperature drop will remain relatively constant..... an increase in volume will create a proportional drop in pressure.
So having less volume will yeild higher pressure and therefore will build boost much faster.
p.s. enjoy the car
