okay, my mom wants to get rid of her 01 audi a6 to get a bimmer.
she is really looking at a 03 745Li. i told her to look at e39 m5s (but she says that it is too sporty and looks like my car.....

)
i also told her to look at 540s, and i think that might be possible. what else should we look at? she wants a BIG CAR, no 3 series.

this is going to be me-"mom, can i drive your car?" how sad

Wait. A M5 looks too much like your car yet the 540i doesn't ? You do know that they are the same body style, right ? They are same with the exception of the bumpers...

m5 would be sick! personally i think the 745 are great cars.. but to own one IMO would get old pretty fast...

have her get the 7 just it iwll be better for her

she thinks that all 5ers of the older style look too much like my car...
torque, no fucking kidding that the m5 looks about the same as the 540
she likes the newer body style of the 5s though

i was thinking of talking her into getting a saab

My mom was goign to buy a e46 M3 this weekend. Then she found out it doesnt come in fully automatic. Hell No eric. Z4 sh liked but i said she needs stick. She doesnt want to learn> She was even cosnidering the e39 used M5 but when i said stick only, it was a big ole "Negative ghostrider"

So... you are talking about the new 5 ? There is no 540i.

Yes, I'd recommend an e60 545i....but if she doesn't want the power...then plain ole' 525i or 530i.

Oooooo She could get an e60 525xi or 530xi...too. I love those AWD 5ers.

Yeah, just tell her NOT to buy the 2002 e66.

But yeah, an e65/e66 are nice luxury and BIG that she likes.

the new m5, haha, ya, right.... i dont think they want to spend more than, was it 59k? i think that is what the used 03 745li was going for... that is pretty much maxed right there...

there is no way i will let her get a 525 or 530, way underpowered in my opinion for a 5er. 545 would be nice if she wants the new body style.
