I still like the Boeing 747 more...

Either... its a god damn plane. I aint gonna own a plane that big. Maybe a smaller Boeing some day...

If I fly on one that big, all I care about is if I can workout and then shower, while on my flight. Get a good solid 2 hr workout in while flying. Better than sittin on your ass watchin the in flight movie or whatever they show.

747 looks better but the airbus is probably better equipped.

Boeing 747-400 are sexy you can get mad chicks with one of those they would all be like "OMG is that a Boeing 747-400, i love you" and you could be like "i know you do"

Doesn't matter to me. As long as I get where I need to be, it can be a propelled small-plane -- I don't care.

747 is better. I believe my roomate told me there are only 3 airports or so in the world than cant hold the weight of the aiburs 380. It's too damn heavy.

jrhaile 07-13-2005 02:57 PM

which one do I have more of a chance surviving if it drops 30k feet to the ground?

spiff 07-13-2005 03:01 PM

Which one has Nos injected into the gas tank via small Knome?

xsperf 07-13-2005 03:07 PM

id rather ride in the airbus, but who cares how they look on the outside, its not like people can see you while you are flying, unless they are other pilots lol

Torque 07-13-2005 03:08 PM

If they see you at all, that means you are all going to die -- very soon. lol

^---no. Not all planes use IFR (instrument flight rules), rather many planes use VFR (visual flight rules). Meaning it's not uncommon to see other planes in the air while flying.

Chances of you surving a plane crash in either one are ridiculously low. But the chances that it will crash in the first place is miniscule. If you are really a safty freak, the safest place to sit would be near the rearish-middle of the plane. Also the airline, Qantas, is the only major airliner nto to have a single incident/crash in it's history. Tickets are a bit pricier though.

Luxury-wise the A380 will triumph. It can feature stuff like a minimall and a casino inside of it. Of course thats great only if you can get to the right airport that can support something that heavy.

You wont be seeing the airbus for a few more years. I believe their first test flight was earlier this year. Pilots wore prachutes the whole time but luckily all went well.

Pictures dont do the planes justice. The A380 is HUGE!!!!!!!!!

Hoppy 07-13-2005 04:47 PM

the airbus is one of ( if not) the first non american superliners isnt it?

Torque 07-13-2005 05:24 PM

///m powah, i was talking about seeing people inside the plane, not the plane as a object...
