How stupid is gas?
 

All right here's the story...

I guy left me a 20.00 dollar tip Friday for detailing his car. Since I'm short on funds right now (new rims) I thought I'd be responsible and use the money for a good cause. So today I pull into Shell on my way home from Pep Boys to fill up.

I cut the gas off at exactly 20.00 and then realize I've only put 8.005 gallons in my tank. I look at the price of premium and its 1.50 a gallon. I know this might not be as high as places like NYC or Chicago but give me a f***ing break. :bash

Yes, gas prices are getting out of control these days. Since I have had a broken ankle all summer I haven't been watching the prices around here, but I am sure they are well ovre 2.50 for premium :angry

Yeah gas prices are so voliatile that I swore the price was increasing AS I was pumping gas into my tank....

it's 2.60 for regular and about 2.80 for premium in NYC...but that is going up as I'm writing this...

when i was in europe over spring break, the prices in paris madrid and london all were about $5.00 a LITER after converting it to us dollars... there's a reason why they don't drive sports cars over there! (not counting rich people that drive awesome blue eurospec M3's that make me go 'da doing doing doing')
