"The Island" : I Went To Premiere Party last night!
So one of the perks of living in NYC is that you usually know someone who knows someone with extra tickets to a red carpet movie premiere in the city and afterparty!
Anyway I saw this upcoming Sci-Fi movie called "The Island" with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanssen last night...
and I must say it rocked my fcuking socks off!!!
Way better than "The Matrix" and probably the best Sci-Fi movie I have seen since "BladeRunner"!!!!
Folks...I must warn you, this is no I-Robot, Fantastic Four, SpiderMan, Star-Trek, Star Wars, WarOfTheWorlds run-of-the-mill campy sci-fi soap opera/kids movie bullshit!!!!
This is the real deal hard core science fiction that will make you think twice about shit like Stem Cell research and Diseases!!!
Because of similarities I would say if you liked the original "Matrix" movie you will love the Island!!!
