What do ya'll think of the NightHawk ECO DRIVE!?

I almost lost and damaged my $900 Omega Speedmaster (pics below) watch on two separate occasions this week... (BTW it was graduation gift from my father and I don't want to lose it)

and since I'm going to be working in the woods and water the rest of the summer, I figured on getting a cheaper replacement!

This Citizens is about $200- way cheaper for me on EBAY- and has alot of feautures I like such as

CITIZEN NIGHTHAWK
ECO-DRIVE PILOT WATCH
MEN'S MODEL# BJ7000-52E
Solar power watch.
Charges in sunlight or indoors.
No battery ever needed.
Stainless steel case and bracelet.
Black dial.
Pilot slide rule dial ring that operates by crown at 8 o'clock position.
Dual time.
Date display.
Luminous hands.
Time reset advisory.
Low charge indicator.
12/24 hour time.
None reflective Crystal.
200 meter water resistant.
Warranty: 5 years.

I also use this Casio Pathfinder Triple Sensor Titanium watch when I'm working outdoors

(I had it for like 4 yrs now) but the battery just died and it's like $34 to replace the battery-ouch! But apart from that problem I want something alittle more shiney and cooler looking whiles working in the woods....

I dunno, that top one looks a little too busy for me. If you can figure out exactly what you are looking at, go for it. Anyway, I don't even wear a watch except for nice parties, weddings, etc... I use my phone for the time.

the top watch looks way to busy... when you're lost in the wods and being chased by a bear do you really wanna have to take a whole minute to stop and try to find the time.

but in all seriousness, too busy. but let me ask you a question.... when you're in the woods all summer and pretty much alone, why does the shine of the watch matter? i could see it mattering if you were looking for a party/date watch...but why does it matter in the woods? I would go for something thats functional and easy to use. just MO

I am more into digital watches when I backpack. I like having a watch that has a back light built in so I don't have to turn on a flashlight at night to see the time. Also, that watch does look a little busy and I don't really like having huge klunky things in the woods.

But if you are able to figure it all out and like having some class while your miles away from everyone, then go for it. It does look kinda fancy

I'm not alone in the woods. I work with horny college aged females on summer break as camp counselors. Did I mention they are horny....

nah, jokes aside...I'm a consultant and I work with corporate and woodsy sponsors so appearance is usually important for me.
and plus all those horny camp counselor girls...

(only Chris reads below)
Chris,
there is just something about fcuking a beautiful Camp Amerca foriegn exchange Polish red-head girl named Beatta (who looks like Milla Jovavich) in a thicket of Pine trees under the summer sun missionary style and looking down at your wrist and realizing your watch looks really good...and you focus on your watch so you could squeeze in an extra 5 minutes before blowing your load....
ha ha ha...that was years ago when I was younger, much younger.

got it. you didn't mention that before. you just said that you were spending the summer in the wods. now that you mention i remember reading a thread about what you were dong over the summer. when I read spending the summer in the woods, and being an outdoorsy guy myself i assume you're going camping or hiking for a few weeks.

(for delmarco's eyes only)
I didn't enjoy sex in the woods. too uncomfortable. hood of a car or a bed is much better for me.... but with the first watch it would take you five minutes to find the time and she would have fallen asleep and pushed you off her by then...

I love my Eco Drive. The bottom of the band is a little scratched.. but I'll just get the scratched links replaced soon.

Get the Eco Drive.
