Harry, I really like the watch you showed. If you like it, go for it, but you better be true in saying that it is only a date watch cause losing that thing would suck ass. Also as jealous as I am, I think it is really great that you can afford to buy yourself these nice things, you must have worked hard to get to where you are. Just don't spend it all cause god knows you will need that money in the near future, esspecially with college.
Enjoy the new watch my man!

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.
shpuz ur only 15 so you woulndt know how much insurance actualey costs when ur a teeneager. Also because of the value and power of an M3, most insurance companies wont insure or will implement HUGE rates to an 18 year old with an M3. When you get a car you' understand. Gotta love Alberta, the rate for my car to drive it is the same if a 35 year old guy drove it. My insurance is based on the value of the vehicle and its still a bitch

And yes I'm 18, which is why I'm looking at the silver style over the gold, as I think the gold looks too "old".
Envy, that watch looks nice, but I'm not a big fan of the round shape on the hour hand, I like the simple style of the datejust. Plus the explorer is a bit more than what I want to spend.
And for those comparing it to a $20 watch at walmart... there's something to be said for brand quality. It's an investment, and when I decide to upgrade to something different, I'll be able to get nearly what I paid for it. I'm a big believer in quality over quantity, which is also why I have oakleys rather than $20 walmart glasses.... I think a few more of you can relate with me there.
I started this thread not to talk about the money of it, but the style. I asked a question of how you guys like the look or style, that's it. Do you?
Yes everything you buy it definately quality over quantity, but then again some people can afford to do that alllllllll.... the time! And that is why you rock
Not a great fan of Rolex in general. They normally look like an old man's watch. However, that one meets my criteria, as elegant and understated. I like it.
If you amortise the cost over the life of the watch, they are a better, return on investment that a cheaper watch.

I just can't get used to one... I feel unbalanced... one arm is heavier than the other. I have to pick up a rock to prevent myself from tipping over to the side.

I have a Rolex Submariner, the 50th anniversary one. I've had it for about a year and a half now. I might be parting with it soon, I'm not sure yet, but it's definately only going to go up in value. No question about it. It's really a great watch that I never wear except for special occasions or something, when I get out my suit and really do it up. It's always just sitting in my drawer and is always stopped. I always have to shake it up and reset the time and date when I wear it...
