Laptop or pay off car... trade in or keep?
k guys i know what you say wont totally make up my mind but put yourself in my position.. im thinking about buying a new laptop pretty soon (now that im making good money) but i also really want to pay off my car and be out of THAT debt. so first what would you do, pay off the car or buy a laptop and not put that 1000-1500$ towards paying off the car (buying mods for the 325 is not an option, cause i dont want to right now) after the car is paid off (yes im back to the cars haha) i will probably end up getting an m3, what would you guys do in my position trade in/sell the 325 or keep it and finance all of the m3.. specially when i know of a few guys around here that want to buy my car... and that could bea nice downpayment... im not going to put in any of what i am thinking right now i want to hear what you guys are thinking first... please dont trash on me asking, as i wil ban you just playing, i just want to see what other people are like in the situation...
laptop or money towards car payment (almost over)
Trade in/Sell 325 or Keep and buy m3 or some other automobile
keep the car for now and use it as a down payment on like an M3 or soemthing. cause other than downlading porn the car is so much funner than the laptop
I suggest paying off the car kill that dept! And please [IMO] PLEASE don't get a wintel laptop! Their registry security issue can never be fixed, and most x86 (PC) notebooks adapt poorly to better OS's As noted here [/IMO]
Pay off the current car, then sell it. Use part of the money to buy the laptop, and use the remaining as a down payment for the M3. Not what I would do, but you're not me. I just hate car payments, and always avoid having to finance.

Agreed with Dudesky, Pay off the car, sell both of what you have for the beginning of the M3 and then the labtop will come in time. No need to hurry on the labtop unless you REALLY need it.
Just think of how tasty an M3 sounds...

first of all, pay off your car.. you might like your laptop, but unless you travel a lot( i dont know why you would) you will get bored of it after a while, you'll never get bored of your car
and trust me, you say you are going to get an m3, but it will be months and months/years before you get one, trust me

what you should do is pay off your car #1. Then convince your dad to sell his e36 m3 to you and have him buy an e46. Sell the 325 and use the money to pay back your dad.

This I don't understand. People always seem to think that a nice car is so far out of their reach, but it really is not. An E36 M3 costs like 12,000 or something, right? Put 2 or 3 thousand down and finance the rest. How hard is that?

i will never finance a car...... i hate debt, i'd rather just save until i can pay it out right...unless my car gets totalled and i have absolutely no choice

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

My uncle explains that this planning results in all of a year's payments are interest only - Not a good idea!
