The other day on my way to work (My uncle and my dad own a used car dealership with a mech. shop and State inspect. and I work at their ) I saw a "Now hiring" add in front of this place called Clark's Tires (A LOT like Firestone). Anyways, I did a U-turn, got an application and chatted with the co-manager for a little bit. Went back to work told my uncle about it, and he was like fill it and turn it in after you get lunch. So I did and went back their, I talked top the actual manager, he told me to come back the next day for an interview. I came back the next day and the guy told me he really liked me and wanted me as a Manager trainee, he said he would call his HQ and call me the day after it. However 3 days past and I never heard anything, (was supposed to call me Saturday)...
But today (Monday) I got a call from that place, apparently the manager I had talked to was transferred to another location, and the new manager came across my application, he said that everything was looking great and my background came up clean. . He said that so far I was hired but he wanted to see me. Apparently he's wanting new staff all around, so my chances of either getting Manager Trainee are even better
So Wish me luck
EDIT: This job will really help me with getting my rims by the end of the summer, I would be gettign employee cost which is 10% over what they pay. Plus their store owns several branches of stores that provide everything from home appliances to toys...
