I just graduated and my school only gave "Distinguished Scholar" to the people who had an above 4.0 GPA for all four years. Our valedictorian only took AP classes her senior year (Calc, Govt, Literature, whatever the hell else there was). Anyway, 44 is rediculous! That is all, peace.

I think if they have 40 sutdents who get 4.0 averages for seven quarters, then they need to make thier classes a little more difficult. If all those people are not being challenged enough, then they are learning nothing.
