I have service with alltel and need a new phone. right now i have that silver motorola that everyone and their mom has. i kinda want a camera if the price isnt too bad on them. not looking to renew my plan if not need for a dramatic price drop. post some cool phones with prices if you can find some. thanks!

Most services offer free phones with a plan. I suggest cruising the web sites

I'm not familiar with Alltel's service, but I have a Samsung P107 flip camera phone I'm probably going to be selling soon to upgrade to a Razor V3.

see thats the thing, around a year ago i made a 2 yr contract with them and got my phone for free. but i dont want to extend the contract, i just want a new phone. may be trading service providers soon and dont want that early contract cancellation fee.

my new ex-girlfriends brother has a razR, they're nice, but they can't take a beating. even though its metal and doesn't scratch, his snapped at the hinge after jsut a few days. Its nice, but i wouldn't take it unless you always want to worry about its well being..

I have verizon, they dont have many phones to choose from, there's only 1 that had bluetooth but wasn't a PDA.
Moto V710. I had to pay 300$ for it. It's hackable after you get a 15$ USB data cable... Flash your own firmware, It's the pimpshit, the screen is fucking huge compaired to those tiny little cute samsungs that look like flattened out dildos.

try ebay, my friend bought a list price, $300 phone, for like 120 on ebay. he called up his providor (verizon) and gave the SSN number and it was activated in like 10min. the only thing you have to worry about is if the phone is stolen and reported as stolen, then if you try to activate it, you'll have some problems, since the SSN will be flagged. Then you will just have to give the phone company the ebay sellers info and let them take care of it.

But I have not heard any bad stories about buying phones off ebay yet.

best thing to do.. get a phone that is 'unlocked', stick your sim card in, and youre good to go.. dont have to go to the provider either

i dont think i have a sim card. im not very "how to change phones" educated though.
