is red the new green?
 

This has been bugging me for a while.
Ive noticed that so many people run stop signs and red lights. I was watching one 4-way stop ( i was eating in the builing overlooking it) and in like a 10 min span there was like 15 people that either complety ran it or barley slowed down. Plus on my way home there was a green light for me and about 5 seconds before i get to the intersection some silver honda acorrd goes through the red withought even bothering to slow down or anything, if i had been there earlier i coulda been hit.

It's completely unbelievable! Here it's especially bad with left turn arrows! :bash At least 4 or 5 cars cross the left turn on red forcing us oncoming going straight to lose 4 seconds of our green! Worthless scum the lot! :throwrock

I know right. Earlier today I went through a light that was yellow (i was in the area where it could go either way), and after i went through i looked in my rear view mirror and a car probably 50-100 feet behind me ALSO went through it WITH the car behind him!! By the time he reached the line to go into the intersection it had to have been completely red, and the person behind him wasn't even in the question.

haha not here in MN.. they all are law freaks here.. at least where I live. They wont budge the car 1mph over the 55. Gets VERY Annoying

i know, here in Calgary or BC its nuts, u can have like 3 people will go through when its red. I once almost hit 2 cars cause of that, i had to pin it off the line to get ahead of some guy so i could make my turn-off and 3 cars went through the red when i had the green and i almost smoked em, but i did make the turnoff

It's tme for a change! And some people need to learn how to signal! :bash

go to florida shoot them when they run the light and say that they were makeing threatening jestures at you...problem solved .....well at least your agression. Step 2 would b to patition your congresmen to adopt the new "kill bill" in your state. :)!

Not like this in NC, however a few weeks ago, on my way back from someone's house, we get to a red light, and some honda was infront of me, he waits a little then goes through the red, lol, I just laughed my ass off

Yea in my area, NJ, they are installing cameras on top of lights now ot catch those people who are running red lights. I've even seen cops hang out in parking lots near busy intersections and wait for someone to run the red, its inevitable. they prob have to be there max 10min until someone runs it. :doh

What I hate more is when I'm stopped at a light, and right next to me is a 'No Turn On Red' sign, and people behind me are honking incessantly for me to make the turn.

Or when you're sitting in one of the two turn lanes with red arrows for turning (and green for straight), and someone comes flying by you in the other lane and turns through the red arrow. You can just sit them and watch them brake half way through the intersection and slowly keep going the 2nd half as they realize what they did.
