leaving for the summer.. leaving civilization - United Bimmer Community

I guess I am leaving UB and all humankind civilization for the summer here shortly.. I got a good-paying-pain-in-the-ass kinda job out in the mountains in CO making trails.. FUN stuff!! right.. 10 hour days 6 days a week..

But its like 15 bucks an hour (you in cali probably dont think thats much but I DO!) and food and lodging is provided.. on the mountain. So i wont have internet or cell phone reception probably.. But hey Ill get to hang out with the bears at night and maybe Ill meet bigfoot (the lady)!

I hope it will be fun though and most of all I hope it goes by quick.. I do need to go over some things in my car though and make sure that they are a ok to drive out that far.. Tires need changing, and i just ordered new ones today.. I should probably check the timing belt too, cause on this BEASTLY M20 if it goes, my whole engine goes.

Anyhow, you guys (and girl) have fun this summer

.. and if you dont, remember that you could have it worse.. You could be sleeping the woods and waking up to a bear licking your crotch or something. and after that making trails for 11 hours.

Ahh the great outdoors. Hot, sticky, bug infested, woods. Although the pay is dec, i'll stick to my A/C office job, which allows me to be on UB all the live long day... haha

nah man enjoy, you'll get big and tanned (hopefully)

Haha, I was out camping in the woods last weekend and got all chewed up from the damn mosquitos

It was good times though building 20ft bonfires with pallets. I'm going up to Maine to Kayak down the Saco River this weekend too

thanks guys.. i hope that higher up in the mountains there wont be any mosquitos.. im HOPING.. also they guy said at night it almost always goes below freezing.. you think it will be hot and sticky in the day?? i mean its the mountains - usually is pretty dry from what i remember
