In a 6-3 vote, the supreme court ruled medical marijuana illegal.

Personally, I think its bullshit. A Lot of people rely heavily on medical marijuana to stay alive. I also have numerous other issues with the supreme court as far as gay marriage is concerned but lets not go there...

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

the fact that they criminalized medical use marijuana is ridiculous. A drug that helped many people in pain, with little or no dependance, is now illegal for prescribed use, i feel sorry for those who DO need it, and as a result must resort to a life of pain or dependancy to a much more harmful/ addictive drug. look at tobacco, its addictive and very harmful and helps you in no way, but its legality is in no question

i somewhat agree. I agree that it helps people, but I am sure there are other drugs out there that can help with the pain, and not cause as many possible side effects of marijuana

your tobacco comment is right on, i personally think tobacco should be out lawed, but it would never work. Too many people would be out of a job, too many law suits, etc.

^^ exactly, the tobacco companies are too powerful and big to allow hte government to make tobacco illegal. but also smoking has declined in the past few years, and smokers are being pushed out of more and more places. restaurants, offices, public spaces, etc. soon the only place to smoke will be your car and home, which in effect is making it indirectly illegal to smoke, by limiting the places those people can smoke.

on the marijuana, i guess its bad its illegal now, but i dont know, havent formed an opinion.

well, with companies like RJ reynolds tobacco merging with hundreds of different companies, and such a huge agricultural market it would really fuck up the economy to shut them down
