ford does not own ferrari. a failed buyout attempt in the 60's prompted the creation of the original GT40. Ferrari is an independent division of FIAT, who also own and manage Maserati. And VW owns Audi and has owned Lamborghini for a few years now.

Maserati was sold...I think. It was dragging down FIAT big time. Let me look back through the mags i bought in europe though to make sure, i think it said something about it in there....

and last i checked, everyone here would sell their left nut for a Aston Martin Vanquish.......(FORD! however sad it may be)

I retract my previous statement, Maserati Is still fiat but they did make a move to separate maserati from ferrari by taking the maserati and advertising it as a luxury car and not as a detuned ferrari. Maserati engines will also no longer be built by ferrari but rather will be built by fiat motor division (in laymans terms the engines will turn to euroshit and can't even be a poor mans ferrari anymore)

VW also owns bentley....
and Harry remember, when you rule the world, you drive the bimmer, you get driven in the rolls and you let your wife dream about driving the bentley.......
