In the shop..

Well as some of you know my e30 is in for some upgrades (control arms, tie rods, m3 offset bushings, sways), today one of my fears was realized and I was told i had blown one of my shocks. Last fall I got a car eating pot hole and It killed a control arm bushing and evidently my shock so I'm going ahead and getting new shocks all the way around on the car due to some really good pricing on the bilstein sports that the shop can get. Hopefully they don't uncover too many other problems that will cost me more $$, the good news is that the Bimmer should be in great shape after what is potentially a lengthy stay at the shop for a while and its money pitt habits. Ah the costs of keeping my beauty working well and looking good, they suck but they are worth it.

I will let you guys know how I like the Bilstein sports in comparison to the Konis I had on it. I am guessing they should be similar except that they won't be adjustable. I am keeping the good konis incase I decide to revert, but a set for the whole car was less than the price of the two front konis!
