اسلام عليكم (zeaq328i) sorry if i got the name wrong, but i had to try typing it out in arabic. of course im making a huge assumption that you know arabic, but i thought i remember you saying you did.

you typed the muslim greeting right above your post, and i think his name, in arabic, would actually be pronounced DEEA, which would mean light, but then again you'd have to ask him

well i typed zay, a long E and Kaf. which should read ZEEK in my primitive mental translations. (arabic only writes long vowels, not shorts. shorts are represented via accent marks) but yes it was a Muslim greeting, meaning basically peace to you, asalam alaykum اسلام عليكم i am taking Arabic in college, and added Arabic script to my comp. so im trying it out. if i remember correctly hes from Brunei and speaks Arabic. though iv been missing from this forum for a while. so i dunno if hes even still around these parts nowa days

random fact: DEEA (however it's spelled) is also the name of the African boy who is forced to become a child soldier in the movie Blood Diamond... anyone here watched it? I think it's the best DiCaprio film yet... |
