there's been the first stig, whose identity has been unveiled by a book.
the stig who followed is according to many internet debates not one, but several persons. In fact it is said that "he's" several ex-WTCC/TOCA/WRC drivers taking their turn in driving

maybe they will kill him off now that the secret is out, just like they did with the last stig.

i still don't believe the whole its many people thing, because that would defeat the whole purpose of the top gear lap times board, because if its more than one person then it renders the whole thing useless, the only reason anyone says that is because there was a video where the stick was actually interviewed by a dutch woman, i believe, and he actually talked, but before richard hammond said something like 'it could be many people' or something, dont know i'd have to dig it up

dam. oh well hes still a bad ass.
