Did you try autoeurope.com
|
ye ai tried auto europe. Im trying tiger car rental right now. Its actually cheaper..which is cool.
Its gonna be an A3...but that works. and no im not going to go to The ring. Were going to a concert actually. Mad Caddies. yes. |
ok so im still in europe but i got nothign to do this morning, so ill give a quick update.
I got the A4 reserved with budget and went to pick it up on thursday morning from Berlin airport. Turns out they didnt have an A4's so they upgraded us. I got a 2007 A6 3.0TDI fully loaded with NAV and heated seats etc. I must say, having never been in a newer audi recently that car was astonishing. The computer system for the GPS and all the car controls was very easy to use and navigate. took only 10 min or so to figure it out. and the GPS was precise. onto the driving...oh man. autobahn for the win. I only 200 or so kilometers...and my bud drove 400km in the dark that nite. got on the autobahn 5 minutes later i saw the beutifull speedlimit sign with the three lines and put my foot into it. The roads are very good when there is a speed limit, but as soon as there is no speed limit the roads are emaculate. I got her up to 225km or so and man. sounded like a plane. unfortunately(well maybe fortunately) it was limited...not sure why or how but it didnt have anything left after that speed. so i got my autobahn experience out of the way. time for a ride on the ring next time im in germany. heh also, i love the driving style, ruthless but safe. I would always move over to the right as i should have, and if i was coming up fast behind a truck i was always let into the fast lane, never had to slow down like i would have to in america. Wish we could teach people that in America, things would be much smoother. |
the A6 is limited at 250kph
trust me my dad and me once drove with a 3.0 TDI from Frankfurt to Stuttgart, and we topped it out From Stuttgart on (we resetted the OBC on the Autobahn) down to my town we got an average speed above 200 kph, b/c there was almost no traffic |

That and my passengers where alright knowing there on a safe road and with a responsible driver, but werent very enthused at the speed. heh thats a pretty dam good average speed. Gotta love those roads. |
yeah, no potholes on interstates like in Michigan :D
|
shocks, pegs, lucky!
that great! i hope you get some pics of the car! i like audi's. |
I still think you should have taken it to the nurburgring.
