Integra Type R?
I was looking at cars and I would love to get a bimmer, but for some reason I just don't want an E-36 or older because I see too many people driving around in them and also it just doesn't seem like a very fun car to drive. I was doing some research on the Integra Type R and and I like it. What do you guy's think about a Type R?

heh before you say that go and test drive one.
as for the integra Type R, my buddy gave me a ride in his on the track(he then turned it into a race car) and that thing has some power. No where near most of the other cars on the track, but that thing handled very well for the power it had.
Itll prolly run for ever. I would say its comprable to a 328. I would also say its still a honda. You also want to find one that hasnt been harrased. Cause im sure most of the Type R have been purchased by teens already...who more then likely drove the shit out of it and are selling it cause things started to break.
Keep that in mind. Find one that was owned by a middle aged women who purchased it because she liked the way it looked and gas mileage.

one word:
understeer. other then that, i actualy realy like the integras. i think they are pretty good looking cars. just make sure its a real "type r" and not something with a different badge on it.
Even though I don't like Honda's, I have to say that they have pretty good reliable engines and very good on mileage. I went thru two cars before I got my hands on what I have now. I will never go back to a FWD car. It also depends on what you are looking for and what you expect from a car and a title or badging shouldn't sway you.
Craig, that sig is the bomb. Does it also have the big boat horn and dissapear when it's revving? Reminds me alot of the movie "The Car"

Just because it has the type R badging doesn't mean its a type-r, what separates the the type r from ever other integra is that the suspension is better and it has a special motor a B18 with higher compression ratios it also comes with lighter parts from the factory. I wish I could find one around here but all the ones I find are hell knows where from me.
