wow some of you guys need to jump off the bmw bandwagon. An acura integra, and an integra type r are two different cars. My bro has an integra after some $^@%$^@% rear ended his 240, and it's not that bad. The type-r's handle very well compared to a lot of FWD cars. I like e30's just not enough to get rid of my e36 for one. If it was a better car then an e36 I am sure I would be driving one.

getting a little too serious with the BMW deal here. its not like your driving a GOD or anything. different cars are right for different people. i dont want a BMW right now because i couldnt afford the maintenance and parts, but i WILL buy one eventually. maybe hes doing the same thing?
I just saw a 91 Merc E300 W124 Coupe in town on a used car lot... loaded, premium quality exhaust (Lorinser)... pretty nice for 136k miles... (which in Germany is a high mileage).
costs only 3300 Euros/4800 bucks

you make it seem like the E30 is the best car ever made. They are nice cars I won't deny that. It seems whenever a non-BMW is mentioned on this site besides an exotic or something it is instantly hated.

yea, id rather have an e30 than an integra, this is a bmw forum, you know, and that means the one thing that we hold in common is the like for bmws, not integras

That is completely fine I like my 325, but basically calling an integra R crap, just isn't true. Not saying that you did. A type R is so different from a normal integra.. Liking your BMW more is cool it's your car after all, or any other BMW for that matter.
I guess that I thought being BMW enthusiasts we could also respect other manufacturers that put out good performing cars even if it is FWD, and Japanese. And their normal versions of that car tend to be "riced" out.

You mean the e30 isn't the best car ever made!!?!
Please keep in mind my Daily driver at this point is a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3, its a little ricey (IE Huge exhaust stock) and front wheel drive, it torque steers like a bitch, and understeers like a bitch, its certainly no BMW but it is still a lot of fun and its fast as hell and I do love it most of the time. I think its one of the best bang for the buck packages out there and I am very happy with it. If I didn't work for a vendor at Ford onsite I would have gotten another BMW instead of keeping the client happy. Forgive me for ragging on the Integra, but I'm with xsperf its a BMW forum, gotta represent the BMW sorry for the bias.
I actually have tons of non-BMW fav cars...
