this is just messed up....

ok... this is just freakin weird.

as you know, my throttle cable broke and i have to replace it. i just put my new cable in and it was too short(by about a foot and a half). so i held my old cable, and my new cable side by side to see how short it was.... THEY WERE THE SAME LENGTH!

how does that happen!?!

Numark318i 01-21-2008 06:22 PM

did you install it the same way you removed the old one?

craig 01-21-2008 06:36 PM

ah.. well i feel like a dumbass now. i got it in right, i just wasnt looking in the right place once it was in. hehe. there was another cable sticking out of another hole(not sure what it was) that looked identical to it. just got confused :). it will be back on the road tomarrow :D

well it was in the right hole(lol) i just wasnt looking at the right one at the back(where the engine is). all fixed now. going to replace the master cylinder tomarrow (in 20* weather, and i dont have a heated garage) then it will be ready for the road again :D

hehe. iv only done a wheelie once, and im not going to try one again untill i have some $$$$ saved up just incase something brakes :D because the transmission is the only thing holding the engine up. theres no support at all back there.

besides, right now its running rich and im losing power because of it, not sure if it would do a wheelie right now or not.

Ah. Well either way thats cool that you will have it going again soon.
