http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/1...roup.3.160.jpgThe all-new Mitsubishi Evos and Subaru STI are kindler, gentler beasts than ever before. But have they gone too far in the wrong direction? Do they now suck?

Well, it depends if they have a wide market for the gentler versions.

seeing all these newer Japanese 4wd turbo econo-box cars makes me happy i sold my 91 VR4... what a POS it truly was. fun? oh hell yeah. fun to own? oh hell no. i'm sure when new she wasn't problematic. give all of these new cars some time and i'm sure it's going to be a living hell to fix. no thanks!

i would lease one though. after "x" amount of months and it's no longer my problem, i've taken full advantage of the car and not have to deal with the problems right over the horizon. Mitsubishi's are disposable cars. Subaru's though... have come a long way and have finally designed their lineup to be attractive.
