Can any one think of a new device for a car?eg. safety, bluetooth etc... that never been done before. I need an idea for my coursework.

fully automatic driven car, so there will be less terrible drivers on the road. I mean literally one that does everything. Drives the car, parks it, stops at stop signs, wont run lights, doesnt pull out in front of cars when there are no cars behind that car, yields correctly, etc.

actually they had a concept car that drove itself awhile ago. Thing was back then it would require everyone to be on the same system but now a days I guess there is already like automatic braking and stuff so I guess that is actually feasible. As far as a device maybe something that will allow you to communicate with other cars. Like entering the license plate would be like dialing a phone number type of thing. That way you can be like hey nice car. And also since it would be like dialing then you can just mute people that are freaking out.

How about flotation airbags that can be deployed in the event of flood or driving into a body of water?

right, I was thinking that would actually go into production.

Actually that's a pretty good idea, make them inflate when water is detected in the engine bay. But where would you get enough air to lift the whole car. Tanks can be pretty heavy after awhile. It might be more practical to have a drop down air mask or something that will give you a few more minutes to breath.

They have crap like that on ships. Sucks for the engineer though because you have like 30 sec after the alarm goes off to get the hell out.

I'm still wondering why so many Lambos, Ferraris and Maseratis burn down there...

I Would be calling people telling them to get the F outta my way and I'm sure I would get a few irate phone calls, i will skip this device.
