? i learned to drive standard, in my RWD, 3.5L bmw in the snow. my driving test, the wheels never touched pavement, only ice and packed snow. the cop said "make it to line street and back. and you pass"

oh and i had old 200/60-390 TRX tires. they dont even make snow tires for that

im sure you can handle RWD in the winter

^dude get a good set of winter wheels and don't drive like a maniac and you can drive the bmw in the snow.

yeah, we had some extreamly bad ice last night(it rained, and then froze) i walked on the street to see how bad it was, and i could hardly walk on it, let alone drive on it. there was a pickup that that lost control and almost ran into the house accross the street. it was BAD. luckily the curb stoped him.

You should drive anyway, its fun as hell to drive in the snow its mad slippery and you drift into every turn. But only do that if you know how to drift because if you don't know what your doing you can end up crashing into a pole or other cars.
