What do you guys think?

I'm thinking about going and looking at this 5, but the price seems kind of high to me. What do you guys think? Here is the link http://tucson.craigslist.org/car/451656561.html

Got a report on it? I'd sure look it over real closely. It won't be as good on gas as your car.

Not yet I am still debating if I want to or not. I would be keeping my car. The 5 would be my moms car, but I would be driving it sometimes.

You sure it's for your mom? JK. Looks like he's done some serious work on it. I would be aware of the mileage and the undercarriage and 5500 sound's a little steep.

Is it me or does the front quarter-panel not look the same color in the picture? Get some more info on it and maybe a few more pictures.

It says something about that possibly being replaced a long time ago.. After talking to my mom about more I don't think I am even going to go look. Partly because she wants something newer. Thanks for the input everyone.

hate to say it but look into a couple year old honda civic?

She doesn't want anything asian. So we were looking at VW, but it's hard to find a good one here. We looked at a VERY cean jetta the other day, but then when we had the mechanic look at it the car needed $1500+ in repairs. Everyone overprices their cars here too. I just found a 93 525i that she likes. It has 118k on it and the carfax is clean. It failed emissions once and it was fixed and passed. It's from New York though so i'm thinking rust coud be an issue? :dunno I don't have the link right now but I can get it later.

Kind of OT, but there is something wrong with the L key on this laptop and it is very annoying.

kk..makes sence. I personally dont like asian cars either.

What ever you do, dont get a VW cabrio(the late models from late ninties) they are the worst cars ever. and handle like a bar of soap in a bathtub.
