When I thought there was no hope. Radiohead came through.
This is so weird that I found this tonight. I was beginning to think there was no hope for the music and media for our culture. So many are just in it for the dollar. But then I find this:
Radiohead, possibly one of the greatest bands of all time, released a new album for download October 10th. You can only download it now, but you will be able to buy it in Dec.
Here is the trick:
When you go to buy it, the price is blank. YOU decide what you want to pay for their music. No more with the business suited tight wads concerned about their fat cut of the record sales.
This is their art, for us. Pay them what you think is right!
160 kbps or not, if the band didn't do this, people would have to buy the physical album at full price. seems to me like a bunch of people are just jerks and want something to complain about.
i didnt finish reading that article but whatever. very few people would be hard pressed to know the difference between a CD and an MP3 encoded at 160kbps. only an audiophile would notice, or someone with expensive audio equipment. and if they have that they should be deaf like me.
boo. quit your whining and bitching people. damn whiney people. suck it up and drive on. (not anyone here )
