The Case of the Rogue Fan

Case File:

The Perp (my fan gone rogue)

The murder weapons

The victom......how gruesome

Autopsy pic...the aftermath

At approximately 16:00 on Friday, while driving home, the fan had gotten tired of its shroud getting in its way decided to do something about it. It smaked in the return house and latched its implements of mass destruction into the very source of its own existance....The Radiator
It was at this time when it delivered the Death Blow severing one of the arteries...mortaly wounding the radiator. At 16:30 the perp was detained and stripped of it weapons...the radiator was taken to the hospital and still remains in critical condition. The perp was taken in (out of the car) and is currently serving a life sentance in the shit can.

Moral:
Check to make sure nothing gets remotely close to the plastic blades, or your fan may go ROGUE.......

Yeh..I need to check them as well as the trans mounts just to be sure...it is not uncomon to find a busted trans mount in a high torque rear wheel drive car...I had to replace them on my Z when I had it....if any one of the mounts are gone it may lead to premature failure of the rest......anyhow... bad mounts can also cause the fan to hit the shroud and break

The tranny mounts are fine, I can at least guarantee that. They were inspected when I replaced the clutch back in May.
