^^^ lol. it doesnt matter. there is no reason to. i think the similar threads thing is unique, but sometimes folks post in old, dead threads found there, something that some here find a nuisance.
maybe a time limit should be imposed on threads that show in "similar threads" section?
I don't think we need or want a time limit on that section. It is amusing to me when people post in threads that are two years old, etc., but sometimes an old thread is just th right place for a newbie or a lurker to find the info he or she needs to get a car back on the road. I think that the 'similar threads' section is very useful in that respect.

As a new member, i personally love the similar threads feature that this site has. But maybe automatically locking threads older than a certain date is in order?
