WTF?!?! Does anyone else think this is weird??

One-third of men didn't bother to wash after using the bathroom, compared with 12 percent of women, said the researchers who spy on people in public restrooms.

Im also not very fond of using the library computers at my college..heh think about how dirty those things are. one reason i have a laptop. ^^

i hate it when i see dudes walk out of the bathroom w/o washing their hands... so freakin gross

celsdogg 09-17-2007 10:20 PM

^^^ yeah, i hate that too. i have noticed over the past few years tho, more guys are washing their hands in the latrine.

here is the thing tho, germs are everywhere anyway. the real thing you need to do is keep your hands out of your face and other open areas that can get inside of you unless you just washed your hands.

i always wash my hands, and yes it disgusts me that a guy can walk up to urinal, do his biniss and then just walk right out the door, but i can kinda understand WHY the guys are less likely to wash their hands, have you ever seen a guy walk out of a stall w/out washing their hands?

celsdogg 09-17-2007 10:55 PM

^^^ yeah. that is nasty. i had a friend in high school who used to argue with me the reasons to not wash your hands after doing a 2. unbelievable.

in another interesting note, he drives a hooked up focus now.

good question, dont know if i\'ve ever seen one walk out of a stall and not wash...

i do have a funny story that happened to me a few days ago though:

i was walking into utsa right, and i had just gotten off the phone. so i headed to the bathroom because i thought i should go before i sat down and played around on the internet right? well i walk into the bathroom and start to do my thing. it just so happens that there is another person in the stall behind me, which i think nothing of. well i finish my business and we both flush at basically the same time. i turn around and this CHICK walks out of the stall behind me. we both just stop, dead silent, and stare at each other for a good 5 seconds. then all i say is "um, wrong bathroom huh?." She\'s like "oh @#$%," and walks out.

so anyway, i was laughing my butt off... and come to think of it... she didnt wash her hands before leaving.. :uhoh

People are plain old nasty. That\'s why I try not to shake people\'s hands when I meet them. I carry antibacterial wipes in the car. I use the paper towel to turn the faucets off, and to grab the door handle.

denyo77 09-18-2007 07:53 AM

the computer, btw, is the most germ-infected place in the house.
An average keyboard holds about 100 times more germs and viruses than your toilet.
Ew.

RSF5 09-18-2007 08:59 AM

I\'m still creeped out by the fact a researcher is watching my public toilet activity.
