I probably shouldn't have said anything about this as I'm still kind of on the fence about selling it. The problem is that I would need a new fit kit to make it work on my 530, but that fit kit uses an arm that grabs the door opening. There is another Thule base rack that works better with the 5 series which isn't so unsightly and won't leave marks. So the question for me is: $50 for an ugly fit kit, or $200 for a new base rack? I think I need another day or two to answer this, but you probably need another day or two at least to figure out if you're keeping the 318 anyways.
Sorry, I won't sell it to anyone unless they drive an e36 saloon. The load bars were custom cut to fit the 3 series, and I can't guarantee they'll fit on anthing else.
Oh. It seemed to me that he wanted it for his E36, since his only option to carry his bike at the moment is the Golf's hatch. I'm sure he'll stop by and clear it up, though.
So, yes, a Scion. Last time somebody here said he was getting one, something different -- and much more bimmerific -- happened.

Still unsure if I am going to be moving to something else yet...
I am going to need to see if I can afford payments as well as living my life in college!
Kind of thinking that I will get the fixes on my car, and hold on to it, at least for a little longer.

oh no I meant I would be interested in your bike rack for my BMW, so I dont have to put it in my VW's trunk. Plus the VW broke down on me the other day.
