Craig don t give up ma man.
I just checked out your ebay ad and perhaps you might want to sexy it up a bit. The F-250 is a cool muscle truck so you should be trying to sell it as such.
Think about who you are pitching it at. (I would imagine some young petrol head like yourself.) I would also leave out anything negative from the description, like rust spots, things that need repair or "not good for high way". I think if you pull all this out of your description you will be left with something that will get buyers more interested.
Plus I think you should work on the pictures. The ones you have used are a bit dull and flat. Start by giving the truck a really good clean inside and out. Wax that sucker and wipe some diesel on the tyre walls. You want to make it ping! Next wait for the sun to start setting so that you have goood lighting and use the best camera you can get your hands on. Go to some nice location (maybe in the country side as this will help buyers visualise the truck as an off roader like the 5th picture you used on e-bay.) With the sun behind you try to get dynamic shots: 3/4 angles, shoot from low down, close up with wide angle etc. Make it look like a tough rock crawler! You should also photo shop your images before posting them. Nothing too drastic but you should crop your images (like the one of the engine bay, to mainly feature all the crome, not the dirt) turn up the saturation and contrast a bit. You want to remeber that these photos (more than anything else) are what s going to hook buyers into placing a bid.
Hope this helps. It does sound like a lot but it will be worth it to get what you are after. E-bay is a tough market place. You should also try other places too. Think speciality magazines or events that would have your target market. Good luck bro.
