Had a hell of a crappy day!
 

So.... yesterday was officially one of the worst days ever for me.

First off I wake up with a fever and an atrocious head each (If I did any swift motions my head would hurt as if someone was banging on it :bash )

Go to school then come on, and for some reason Gf is mad at me, we had planned to go to this festival since we both had off and we were going to eat there, but instead we argued for like 2 hours (keep in mind at that point my head is still feeling the same).

So, any who, we set our differences aside and we head to the festival. By the time we get to it, it's overly crowded and no parking space available, so we just decide to go eat somewhere else. Now I don't go downtown a all lot and I got a bit lost on my way back. I roam around and finally see a familiar street but I had almost past it, no one behind me, so I kinda suddenly braked (just enough to make a little squeak).

And so I put my signal and turn, next thing I know, guess what comes up behind me........:angry Yeah, a F-ing cop!

After a second of him being behind me I hear my radar going crazy, so I know what's going to happen. (But I was only going like 25mph - downtown speed limit in that section).

And my prediction was right, the infamous "boup-boup" and flashing lights come on, so I turn into a small street and park to the side.

He comes up and does his all routine of "license and ..."

Sir, why am I getting pulled over? Well, your tinted appears to be too dark from a distance. :doh

Now at that point am furious :angry bcs I know, the only reason why he paid attention to me is bcs of the small braking I did earlier. And if my tint appeared THAT dark is bcs duchebag cop had sunglasses on!

He comes back puts the stupid little device, registers like 21.45%.

SO I get a ticket for illegal tint $175 or take it off and go to court.


Now U'd think that would be the end of it. We finally eat and all that, then everyone comes home, but something seems odd, both my dad and bro are very quiet and sad like. And they finally tell me that when they go to work this morning someone had hit our dog and they found him dead at the gate of the car lot. :bawling

We had that dog for ~ 11 years, had brought him form France and everything, I had thought him all of his tricks and stuff, he was the coolest Doberman.....

But yeah... crappy day!

I am so sorry for your the loss of your pet. They become a part of the family and when they abrubtly leave, it is all the more difficult.

What are you planning to do about the tint? GL with that.

Thx, it's hard for me since I though him everything he knew and I spent a lot of time with him. But he was technically my brother's dog, he's taking it harder than I am I think.


You're right, I don't know what I would do if I lost my dog (my miniature pincher had him for going on 15 years soon)

As for the tint, it seems that if I just pay the fine I'll be ok, going by what the cop said, I can either take it off, go to the centralized DMV, they hook up a scanner and tell me if my window's are now legal, then go to court and they wave everything. And that seems like a lot of freaking trouble for me, lol. I just find it stupid that they do all this for some stupid tinted windows, specially when I see the undercover cops with 5% tint..... :throwrock

Or "take it off" and send them the money..... (in that case I wouldn't take it off)

But I really hate driving without tint, specially with the weather reaching above 100 degrees sometimes. But I'll talk to my lawyer Monday and see what he recommends. He's good, so this all thing might just "go away" ;)
