By the way.... the "best tasting vodka" would be a vodka with no taste at all (unless its a specifically flavored vodka).

Figured that I'd add this in a separate post.

If you ever find Vodka to be too weak or watered down for your tastes, just Freeze Distill it. All you have to do is pour the vodka into an OPEN container (preferably a bowl) in the freezer and let it sit for a couple hours to get down to freezing temp of water, toss a couple ice cubes in the bowl, come back a couple hours later, fish out the now enlarged ice cubes, and you've effectivle doubled the Proof of the vodka depending on how long you left the ice cubes sit before removing them.

Just a little tidbit for those who want to enjoy a more pure beverage

No why would pour it into a bowl just stick in the fridge before you open the bottle that how true russians drink vodka and also never add ice.

You don' read too good do ya? putting it in a bowl in the freezer and adding ice is a way to draw out more water from it, thus making it stronger. Do us all a favor from now on, and read everything twice before you post kay?

No I think you gotta take notes on this one I think I would know I am russian. You just put the bottle in the freezer for a couple of hours then when its chilled just open it and drink, water just decreases the alcohol content and makes it taste watery.

Okay MTurbo, this is getting rediculous. If you read what I typed before you started your smart ass comments, you'll notice that the point of the ice cubes is that they absorb the water thats in the vodka, thus making the vodka stronger. Its a form of redistilling to increase the strength of the beverage. I in no way implied that that was the way to actually drink it. But again, you would have to actually read posts before you reply with your smart ass comments.

One more uninformed comment from you in this thread, and you will be banned from it, end of story.

I had Liquid Cocaine the other night. It was 151, Jager, and Goldshlagger mixed together. Ugh.

Best Vodka I've had so far is called ZYR, which is a very smooth sipping vodka. Can't buy it in all markets, though. Look for it or go to the website and see if there is a dealer near you. Very good stuff!
