no, they are all still here, you just have to search them, for instance, fi you want to see the first post, you go to advanced search, then you search by member name Komodo and do like date first or something, its still there

What xsperf said. They're still there. If you look down at the bottom of all subforums, you'll see that everything is set to only show threads that have had new posts in the past two weeks. If you want to look for older threads, just change the settings at the bottom of the subforums. However, once you close the browser window, it resets to two weeks.
Its set up that way to help with speed on the server end.
The only posts/threads that actually get deleted are ones that violate rules. And even at that, it gets indexed to a recycle bin in case it needs to be referenced in any sort of administrative action against a user (i.e. user X gets temp banned for posting spam, we "delete" said spam, then they claim it never happened. We go to the recycle bin and copy the spam into an e-mail that we send to the offending users e-mail of reference).
So long story short, nothing ever gets deleted, even if its spam it just gets locked in a deep dark hole somewhere.
