Okay, so I saw Transformers tonight. Let me start by saying that the movie as a whole was . . good. But, it wasn't as good as it could have been or should have been. The CGI was fookn phenomenal! The action was lacking through most of the movie, though. The soundtrack wasn't that good, either. The ending had some wicked scenes, but they moved so quickly with all the transforming that you couldn't really see them very well. The plot lulled along for a good portion of the movie, as well. I do not regret seeing it in the theater, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. And I still didn't like seeing all the GM shit! Bumble Bee should've been a fucking VDub! They got paid by GM, which is the bottom line. That wasn't a deal breaker, though. Starscream kicked ass! Optimus Prime was actually pretty cool, too. All things considered, not a bad movie. But, could've been a little better.

Just got back from seeing it. I don't know much about the original series, but I thought this movie was awesome. They had the sound turned up in the theater too. Yea, a little much GM stuff. I don't know if you caught it, but Devastator crushed a BMW

and the cop car tossed aside tht 740. I thought it was pretty good tho. GM smattered all over the place did get old

I wouldn't say poorly done. It was a good movie. I was just expecting even more from it.

I think I'll wait for it to hit the rental stores, lol
