Beating Mother Nature
Haaaaaa! I had just gotten done washing the car and about to start a BBQ when as expected, a storm system appeared. I just got the car into the garage in time. Then I said eff it- I'm grilling anyway . . pulled the grill into the garage, got a rum & coke and my laptop. Roll the car windows down, turn up some tunes and bam- instant party  A couple of people are coming over, AND my girlfriend is away for a month  Booze, meat on sticks, music courtesy of a/d/s & Boston Acoustics, a Toshiba laptop to mess around on the net, and watching the rain come down- PRICELESS

When I was a kid, we had the Atari 2600 with games like Space Invaders and Asteroids! There were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! .... what kind of music did you have on? And ya know - that shit always happens down here in Florida! You'll wash the car and BAM! get caught in rain.

CAPiTUL- we listen to just about everything, mostly stuff from 70's 80's & 90's for the nostalgia factor. The rain cleared up after 2hrs and there were 2 other BBQ's going on in the backyards near me . . they ended up turning off their music to listen to ours  MTurbo- it's a 3 car carport, like a big garage with no door, so it was okay. And yes, the car is still clean

mhmm... definetly... lol I just remembered this one episode of Top Gear when I think Richard Hammonds mounted a BBQ grille to the back of his pickup truck... |
