in a dilemma...

ok, this was real sudden...my parents are getting a loan and letting me get something for my car.

what i want: GTS body kit, Exhaust, and Paintjob

what my parents want: a new top, my intake fixed, a paintjob, and new brakes

RealBmw 02 05-18-2005 09:10 PM

I would go with the paint, exhaust, and new top. I would hold off of the body kit for now. I don't think e30's need body kits. My buddy got one on his e30 and i thought it looked worse

I kinda agree, but if you need new brakes, get them! I know I did! :devil

What exactly is wrong with your intake? lol

xsperf 05-18-2005 10:55 PM

do you really need a paint job?

B3M2W5i 05-18-2005 10:55 PM

i say new top exhaust and paint.. just get an ebay intake take the tube get a k&n filter and your set.. once you get it painted all you have to do is get a new top and brakes if you really need them. i also dont agree with the fact that you esnt to put a kit on the car it just isnt right

well i voted for top kit and paint but didnt mean that one... haha i would say top exhuast and paint if that is the compromise but breaks would be a good thing to get too!

exhaust, intake, brakes. :D

bex325 05-19-2005 12:38 AM

yah go for the top, intake, paint, etc. the reiger gts kit looks like ass IMHO, go for the Late model or euro bumper swap instead, its cheaper and looks better. At least thats what I am doing to my cab -- latemodel front and euro rear.

RealBmw 02 05-19-2005 12:39 AM

if you do end up getting breaks (which would be a good idea if yours are worn out) I suggest that you go elsewhere than the dealer. You can easily get a great pair of aftermarket performance brakes for the same price that you can get OEM brakes from the $tealership.

brien4787 05-19-2005 12:47 AM

brakes, intake, top.

body kit isnt needed... exhaust... why? stock sounds good enough and it wont give you gains buying an aftermarket(nothing you will notice) your white looks nice, unless if the paint is really bad, i wouldnt worry.
how bad is your top?

and ya, what is wrong with your intake?

Longhairedhippy 05-19-2005 01:02 AM

brakes (Brembo) paint (original color) intake

Torque 05-19-2005 05:55 AM

Paint (paint sideskirts too, and first get euro bumper strips to get rid of those ugly sidemarkers), new top and intake
