intake is really intake manifold...i think, i can't remember what the guy said but i know where and what it is. there's a gasket missing and it's sucking air into the engine. and the top? definately need a new one...it leaks around the rear window and the driver side windows. and then the threads are very worn and are starting to unravel(sp?)...paint? there are, what i call "freckles" all over my car...chips of paint, some up to 1/2" diameter...exhaust? i want it cause, well...b/c i can get any exhaust under $1000...body kit? i found it for $900 and think it would look nice on my car(i wanted the MtechII kit but i can't find it for the '88...everything i have found is for 84-87 or 89-91...

I beleive the cabbies retained the diving boards longer than the coupes or sedans, your car would need mtech1.. Or a plastic bumper switch.

Dont waste your parents money on something you dont really need. And a ricer body kit is exactly that; something you dont need.

Since I saw your car, here is what I suggest:

Paint, (brakes if needed), get your back seat fixed (if I remember well it was a bit damaged), and I think a kit would look sweet on your car! Plus since u're getting repainted, that would sve you some money if you do kit at same time.
