E30 please!
 

I'm a getting ready to try to get an E30. A very old friend of my grandma has one.(maybe her daughter's?) I've never seen it close up but I can tell its not perfect. For as long as I can remember it has been sitting in a little barn right before her house. I'll keep you guys updated. Maybe since its been sitting there for years just taking up space I can get it for free!:yum Yeah right.

when are you going to get it? do you have ANY information on it? cuz that'd be good for us nosy people.

I'm going to have my grandma call and ask her tomorrow when I go up there(I think she has seen me once when I was a baby so she might not know who I am). It is red and there is a possibility it could have been her husband's and if it was I know I won't get it....and if it is her daughter's she might be saving it for one of her younger childern. Lots of things that could prevent it but I think if I play my cards right I could talk them into it. I'm getting ready to clean out our old run-down garage and fix it up a bit so I'll have a place to put it....so even if I don't get it I guess at least the garage will be in better shape!

Well, I'm off to see the wizard! Hopefully my next post I'll be 1 bmw richer.

It's a no go. They just bought a new tranny and are getting another with a good engine in it so they can come out with one good car. But I do get all the left over parts for free!

Plus I wrecked my E34. Rolled right into the back of a flat bed that stopped short. It scratched the paint in 2 small place on the hood and bumper and cracked the grill. Either the grill is pushed in and the AC fan seems to be hitting it. I looked under it and it looked like in might be some oil lines that it's hitting but not sure.......I'm sad. Not too bad for a first wreck I suppose.

ooo, sorry man. was the wreck your fault? i had absolutely nothing to blame for my first except my evident blindness. got the other car good, too. threw the lady off the road and into someone's yard. nobody was hurt, though, and it was a narrow road so it wasn't like you need to get hit TOO hard to get pushed off. i was in my dad's volvo so there wasn't much wrong with the car, a torn bumper and rubbed platic; we pushed the metal back on the bumper so you can only tell if you know where to look. still, it scared me to death. the worst part was that i was alone and i had to talk to the officer and the lady by myself. luckily they were nice but i was SO scared. the other really bad part was the first adrenaline rush i got when i heard the tires screech, felt a bump, and saw the lady off the road. wrecks are no fun. :(

Under NC law he could have been sitting there and put it in reverse and slammed into to me and I would have got the ticket.(not that extreme) If your front end hits someones back then its your fault for following too close. But he WAS breaking normal and there was about a car lenght between us, I turned my head to look at a car, head was turned for less then the time it take to blind and bam. I guess he wasn't breaking hard enough and had to slam his on to keep from hitting someone else. But at least he didn't make a fuse and get me a ticket.......seeing as his truck was fine. I'll have to get a job to get a replacement.....looked at it closer after I got done playing ball a little while ago and the ac blades and hitting the entire peice the grill is on, a few blades look a little distorted. We are financially screwed because of my retarded older sibilings...so it might just have to go the way it is. Thanks for the encouragement and such! If anyone knows someone that have a messed up 525 that wouldn't mind parting with the grill piece.....alpine white...then send them my way. ;-)
