komodo, maybe we can have it a minimum of, lets say 50 posts b4 voting, that would prevent people from just creating accounts to vote

I'll go for the "some # of posts" but I don't think that you should set it too high. More like 10 or so. By then a poster has probably proven what drips from their lips and hopefully posted their car to be rated.

I think you also need some way to distinguish the Just added cars from the long runners so that they can be found more easily.

Now it is Confession time. I have yet to vote for anyones cars. I'm saving myself for something, just not sure what

Part of my problem is setting a standard of judgement that I can evenly apply across the board.
I don't do 3's so it is hard for me to judge the nuances of wether the side skirts were there stock or someone went to Herculean effort to fabricate and fit something original.

I can tell just about every possible combination of styling parts on an 8 and how often you see them.

But for the other series I am mostly at a loss. I really don't want to vote based just on "Shiny" or "Parked in a Pretty place"

So now that I have dropped my conversation starter please Enlighten me.

yea i agree with the 10 posts or some # of posts, that is reasonable, 50 maybe too high, but some number so that we can make sure that the person is going to be active/is active. Also the posts should be of substance, not just random comments/"fluff" so that they can get to whatever minimum we set and then vote.
