Just got home from the midnight showing of Spiderman 3. I was waiting to see this because some of you may recall that my g/f and I went to check out the NYC set last year. I liked the film, my only complaint was that there wasn't enough on Venom. My g/f, being a more avid fan, was mixed about it, says they changed some key things from the original comics. But we agreed that was expected.

I liked it. Beginning and end were good. But there was like that 40 min stretch where nothing exciting was really goin on. Other than that, it was great

I was really looking forward to seeing it, but now I'm not. I know about 10 people who saw it at the midnight showing yesterday, and every single one of the were either disappointed or hated it. Not a single positive review.
Yea, that seems to be the consensus, even from the critics. I think too many villains left very little substance to the movie. And everybody hated Kirsten Dunst . . Where I saw it, the entire audience applauded when Peter knocked MJ to the ground

is it worth the extra money to see it in iMax?

Yeah, saw the midnight showing LAST night. It was OK. I wasn't overall impressed, but our best theatre in town just recieved DIGITAL projection. So that was amazing!
I hated the ending, it sucked. Venom was wierd, not like how he was projected in the comics. They rated it 2 1/2 stars here.

it wasnt that bad, it just wasnt as good as the firsts. it could have been better. not enough venom or plot, too much of...well, nothing. but of course, its always hard to top a successful prequel.
although, there were arts where i was thinking "this would be awesome to see in imax!"
