Bike opinions

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I've been doing some more research on the Ducati. From what I hear they're expensive, and even if I do find one at a decent price, the maintenance is crazy. I think since I already own a car that's fairly high maintenance, I should go with a bike that doesn't require so much.

Now, I sat on a CBR and I thought I remembered not liking it as much as some others. Though, if the bikes are anything like the cars as far as reliability, that's probably a good option. Actually once when I was at a local dealer, there was a guy there in his sixties. He had a Honda from I think the 80's with almost 100k miles on it. All he had ever done to it was replace a tire and brakes. (Aside from regular maintenance). Crazy!
