craigs offroading "adventure". yikes.

i left the house with a friend at about 4 yesterday to go offroading, went down some pretty nice(well, bad) roads that wasnt too muddy, but still fun. once we hit a dry road, we found a trail road that looks pretty good. it was good enough that i could put it in third while going 10MPH and was throwing mud probably 20 feet into the air. well, after i got turned around(on a try spot) i hit a rut in the road, and it threw me into a feild. i was able to drive probably 10 feet in the feild before i compleatly stopped. i was stuck their for five hours, and my 'friend' just left me there for dead. he had one of his friends pick him up in his 4wheel drive chevy, and refused to pull me out. so they left while i was stuck 5 miles from the nearest house, and 10 miles from town. but before he left, i was able to get a video. haha. i was finaly pulled out at about 9:30 by my uncle.

my engine wasnt hurt, it still runs fine and dosnt have any new leeks or smoke coming out the exhaust. nothing was damaged at all, just a muddy interior and a muddy... everything els. ill just let the pictures do the talking.

and also, it was so slick that i was able to put it in first, let the clutch out and then get out of the pickup, with out it dieing, or even trying to die. and i was three feet from the road before i had to call for help

Maybe your "friend's friend" saw the monster that you were driving and thought to himself "that truck will make my chevy become his beyotch " and got scared of pulling you out.

Next time you go out 4-wheeling, take your "friend" with you and when you get stuck, use him as a pad so your tires get more traction .

Looks like you need a set of Super Singles with a M&S tread for the back.

yeah, its most deffinatly 4 wheel drive. but apparently my hubs are shot so i cant put it in 4wheel drive. if i had 4 wheel drive in when i hit the feild, i probably wouldnt even have slowed down.

going to check it out this weekend to see if its my hubs, or my transfer case. pretty sure its my hubs, because the driveline moves, but i dont get any power to the wheels.
