Gin- its like a pine tree in a glass
anyone else think gin taste like pine trees? i had a headache so iv decided to self medicate. and all i have around is gin. actualy i didnt have any, i stole it from my friends down the hall

Well it makes sense I guess. Gin is made from juniper berries, which are coniferous evergreens.

actualy it tastes like pinetreess. i have eaten pine needles  i knew it was made of juniper berries, but i didnt know they were evergreens, learn soemthign new everyday

Definitely tastes like what I would imagine a pine tree would taste like. I made a drink once that had gin and Midori in it. The name? Melony Pine Tree.

I would suspect it depends on the gin itself... My favs are Sapphire and Magellin... neither of which I think taste pine. Segrams however... and monarch - deffinately piney.
