ok, i put my filter on during my lunch hour today so i could take a picture. makes it sound better, pops a bit more too. but i cant get the vavle covers on just yet because i need the snap-in breather cap, my curent ones are twist on. ill try to get it sometime next week because i have to order the parts ( www.motorchrome.com ) ill see if i can get over night shipping from japan so i can get them on sooner. also ordering stainless steel radiator hoses, stainless steel heater hoses, chrome t-bolts for the valve covers, and other chrome engine parts(if i can find the fuckers, like chrome fan shroud). its going to be, uh, blinding to say the least. haha. oh and im also planning on painting my engine block black next week too(my week off). no promises tho.

my new restoration plan: engine first, body next, interior last(new seat, thats it)

also, i have a question, would pulleys such as these, http://www.marchperf.com/pg76.html improve performance at all? if so, by how much?

Depends. If the pulleys are lighter than the factory ones on the engine, you may freeup some ponies. By what I have been told it's mainly weight against the crank when it rotates.

The filter looks nice. It'll be really nice to see when done.

should have a little less drag on the motor, but for your truck I think it would be more for looks.

yea, usually big engines like that have loads of torque so really it wont make a difference(especailly if your considering a new engine)

Do they have a dyno sheet to prove it? Do a blower setup on that thing and call it a day

well, they arnt that skinny, but far from wide. i plan on riding those tires out as long as they last. haha. its weird tho because the front tires look extreamly wide, but they are the exact same size as the ones on the back.
